Haiti is the poorest country in the Americas and has a experienced a great deal of political and social unrest in their recent history. On January 12, 2010 Haiti was struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake which had more than 300,000 casualties and left 1.6 million people homeless.

Healing Waters started working in Haiti in 2011. We have partnered with Christian World Outreach and Chances 4 Children to install 2 water systems. There is an extreme need for safe water in Haiti, and we plan to install many more water projects in the months and years to come.
